List Of All Known Active Thelema Groups

Uncle Al

For the past few months one of my obsessions was to create a list of all known Thelema groups. I put the preliminary list up on and received some interesting comments. Most were helpful. At one point I thought it might be  a neat idea to put together a chart of all the known groups with year founded, estimated membership rolls, contact information, etc. However, I think it would take more effort than I am willing to put into it.

Therefore, in the interest of the Great Work of Alchemy, I have decided to publish the list on this blog. If you click on a name, it will take you to the central website of that group. I am not advocating any of these organizations, it’s here for completeness sake. My only criteria for including them was that each venerates Liber Al  and has at least three people doing The Great Work. No, I did not show up at their doorsteps with a census form. In some ways this list is my own estimation that they fit the criteria. I’m sure I didn’t get everyone.

I have tried to not include groups that consist of one person with a YouTube channel and groups which exist to study Thelema as a cultural phenomena.

So Do It Wilt and enjoy the information. I’m sure Uncle Al would approve.

About Rummah

Rummah Kasai has written 27 post in this blog.

Rummah is a member of a secret order so clandestine that he can't even remember what it is.

  1. Concerned Thelemite

Actually, I’m sure that ‘Uncle Al’ wouldn’t approve. See Liber Al, Chapter 1 Verse 10:

“Let my servants be few & secret: they shall rule the many & the known.”

That, to me, precludes lists of this sort.

“The study of this Book is forbidden. It is wise to destroy this copy after the first reading.

Whosoever disregards this does so at his own risk and peril. These are most dire.

Those who discuss the contents of this Book are to be shunned by all, as centres of pestilence….”

‘Uncle Al’ doesn’t need to approve anything. Do what THOU wilt shall be the whole of the law. Not Do what Uncle Al wilts shall be the whole of the law. This is clearly part of the author’s Will to produce this list for fellow Thelemite and aspirants. I will not comment on the Liber AL quote as we are open to interpret as we Will.

Also, the Thelemic Temple of Babalon is another. It’s temple master is Frater Kairos. They cane be found on Google search also.
